A Dusty Trip expresses various bugs and glitches that players can perform or come across, resulting in either a benefit or nuance for the player.

Beneficial bugs/glitches

Unlimited Stamina And Hunger - (By Free reviving in certain conditions)

(Won't work if you fall in the void, get shot by a gun or if another person had already taken your soul using the Vampire Dagger)

This bug may rarely happen to some people. It actually happened extremely often back a few updates ago.

Fly bug

Normally, items have collisions disabled once picked up. Some items don't follow this rule, including the toilet door behind the house in The Desert. Once picked up and stood on, the player can fly endlessly, only limited by their hunger. This in an infamous and popular bug that has not been patched since the day the game came out.

Surf Board Glitch

Place 4 wheels on a flat object (car hood, toilet door etc), with each wheel being positioned on a different edge and facing upwards. Stand on the flat surface, and walk in the direction you want to travel in.

Pushing from Inside ("Banana Power")

Originally discovered by jokingly sticking a banana in front of a driver dressed as a monkey, this glitch moves vehicles by the driver holding items up to the windshield. While sluggish in speed (20-40 km/h), it allows players to save fuel and to keep moving regardless of the engine's conditions. This glitch has not been patched.

TV pull (Vantage)

This works similarly to the Banana Power glitch, but by pushing rather than pulling. This allows for moving the Vantage by holding and pulling items against the barrier between the front seats and the back. This goes just below 40 km/h.

TV pull (Classica)

This works a bit differently than the previous glitch. this allows for moving the Classica by holding and pulling medium-sized objects such as a canister in the closed trunk of the vehicle. This is much faster, and the car may steer a bit to the side depending on how you placed the object in the trunk.

Infinite Liquid Glitch

Originally posted by Doc on YouTube, this glitch allows the player to have infinite liquid of their choosing. To perform this glitch, the player will need an empty canister, alongside three other canisters all with different liquids. Fill the empty canister with one click of a liquid, and two more clicks of the desired duplicated liquid. (0L water + 0L oil + 0.1L gas)

Liquid Thief

This glitch is completely safe. When you find a shop, you can steal any liquid without provoking the turret gun. For example, bring an empty canister and pour liquid from the shop into it. You can try pouring from the radiator, rocket, or fan into the canister and walk away with the filled canister for free without any issues.

Afterwards, pour it out quickly by pressing E, resulting in the liquid pouring out in small portions. until the desired liquid shows an amount of '-0.1'. Then, players can fill up all of the canisters and more. Repeat these steps a few more times, and you will now have an infinite amount of liquid. (you can't hold to pour you have to tap)

The "Infinite" Stamina Glitch

This is a small glitch originally discovered by doc, that is only one time use. To do it, you simply have to double tap shift while walking fast enough for stamina not to deplete. Tho as said earlier, after you stop running it fixes.

Become Speeding van Glitch

NOTE: This glitch requires 2nd responsive player. This can already be a trouble for the most players

Glitch discovered by Doc. [Please, watch the video and write step by step]. Not very practical, since most of the times you will fling under ground and die.

RV fuel pull glitch

Get the Rv and fuel grab the fuel and hop into the drivers seat with the fuel dragging with you. Then turn your arm with the fuel to the passenger seat and make sure the handbrake is down at that moment. The Rv should slowly but surely gain speed.

Infinite bullets

This bug is about having the best weapon in the game with infinite bullets, basically it is buying or stealing the pump shotgun, and using it as you want, as long as there is 1 bullet left to load, without it being empty, when that happens simply save it in your backpack, put your backpack away, put it back on the ground, and the shotgun will have the cartridge and the ammunition fully loaded.

Flipping vehicle by throwing item

On mobile ,when you hold a throw-able item, you press throw button, then press weld/attach button to weld/attach part to your vehicle quickly before throwing and BOOM your vehicle is now flipped. Keep in mind, you have to close the fuel, radiator and engine cap before you do this bug.

On PC (computer or laptop), keep holding F and press Z to weld/attach part to your vehicle quickly before throwing (it's advised not to hit maximum of throwing). (not testing yet)

Putting the V8/Diesel engine on some cars

Some cars can go much faster if you manage to put the V8 engine in them. Such as the Solar Racer or the Phantom

But if you have too much gas left you should definitely empty it by flipping a car that has autoflip.

Utilizing the F1 car's parts

If you manage to find a person who owns the F1 car or also known as the Velocity, If you borrow the engine or wheels and put it inside one of the cars that works with this glitch the car will keep on accelerating seeming to go an infinite speed. I myself have tested it with the Velocitor Zenith.

Neutral

Bugs that don't help but does not break the game or have a negative effect on your run.

Endless rain

When two events happen at the same time as a thunderstorm it has a chance to never stop raining having a calm lo-fi look to the game, although night will be very dark (there is no lightning).

Crazy Hands

Whenever a player grabs any item that is attached to a vehicle (including car parts), the person sitting in the driver's seat's hands will begin to start turning the steering wheel in a crazy fashion, which makes it where you cannot drive the vehicle. Can be fix by going in and out of your vehicle.

Slow game

This happens when you pass near a place where several objects spawn at the same time, the most affected are the crossed objects, which cause lag in the game, and not in general, since your vehicle will become much slower, but you will continue moving faster than your vehicle that is going 80 km, just like the objects, if you move too far away they simply become loose and go as if you were in slow motion, this is fixed by moving objects away from others or separating them.

Rare appearances

Sometimes this has an advantage as well as a disadvantage, sometimes some structures appear on top of cactus, making them float in the air, if they are close to the ground, the objects appear on the same structure, but if they are too far from the ground, they will simply reappear in the ground, but be careful with the mutants.

Ruined Building

This glitch is very common and mostly affects small house, big house, warehouse, and more. The walls are messed up and generated in the wrong area. However, you can still enter through a broken roof or a gap in the wall.

Big Rocks/Mountains spawn in the starter house

This glitch is when a Mountain spawns right into the starter house, making every item pushed out the house or in the top of the Mountain. This may help you build faster cause all item are pushed out but it may be bad because the vehicles can spawn right on top of Mountain that you have to ram to the ground and let the car flip or car part fly out.

Diver Dan, Be Gone

There is an unknown chance that if you sell something, you will sell the entire shop, which allows you to steal anything on display without triggering the turrets, which vanishes along with the red line which triggers them. However, you are also vulnerable to events which usually require cover (like Sandstorms and Thunderstorms), plus, you cannot store stolen items as if the game thought you didn't buy or steal them. (As of right now this only happened to three people.)

How To Know It Happened?

(You will notice if this happen is when you sell items it say 0 Capsule, If You Sell It Will Sell Entire Shop Instead That Item)

Is that the same thing?

There is a very rare chance a building will be teleported instead of being generated, as the result, it retains the same changes when you originally encounter the building. (i.e. The doors are left open, items scattered in the same formation, including items you left there, any rocks or cactus spawned inside included.)

Negative

These are glitches that affect the game negatively.

Incorrect placement slots for vehicle parts (mostly the wheels)

This can sometimes happen if your car gets flung because of an item getting lodged somewhere underneath the vehicle, or when the Plant Boss sits in your car via teleportation and keep bringing it with him throughout the whole fight. It mostly happens to the tires, where their placement location is changed to be floating on the hood or the trunk. The glitch could ruin your entire run as it almost completely immobilize the vehicle that is being used.

Rope Flip

This bug is very dangerous and could jeopardize your entire run. When using the rope gun to attach an item to another item and then trying to attract it to vehicles, instead of the item sticking properly, it can cause the entire car to flip, sink through the ground straight into hell's gate, or get stuck inside a building. To avoid encountering this glitch, refrain from using the rope gun altogether.

Stall Bug

This is a bug fairly common that sometimes the car will not move, even if a motor, radiator, with full gas, water, and oil is installed. Car will not move even if the handbrake is down. To get rid of it - Grab vehicle body (main) part while handbrake is down and push it a bit and then get in driver seat

If it doesn't move freely:

• Make sure all players are sitting
• Make sure welded items don't touch the ground
• Check items welded nearby tires. They could have accidentally welded to tire(s)

(You can fix this bug by simply pushing the van, and starting the engine while it is moving, or grabbing an object while sitting)

Unplaceable Car Object Glitch

This glitch is probably the most annoying. When you try to grab an item on car doors or the hood, sometimes it picks the hood instead. It tricks the game into thinking that you are holding an item, but you are actually holding the hood. This means you cannot place it back. To fix this, get a friend to place it down. It's especially annoying in solo runs.

The Underground Tire Glitch

This glitch causes a tire to go underground when attached to a vehicle. It is not guaranteed to occur every time, but if one of the tire placement areas of a vehicle is touching the ground, the tire may occasionally go underground. To fix this, you will have to grab the tire, which will bring it out of the ground. Then, replace it quickly, and hope it won't go underground again. As of the latest update, this glitch has not been patched, although there has been a minor update to combat against it.

Teleported objects

The worst bug in the entire game, basically it is that perhaps some or for users with low-resource PCs, this bug is that when you take an object, it disappears or goes somewhere else and you have to take it several times To fix it, upgrade your PC. And the worst thing that can happen to you is in the shop store, you want to buy an object, you take it, it leaves the store and you automatically die because the owner thought you were stealing, thus losing 6 hours of progress.

Excessive Drifting with Vehicle Skins

When you try to drive with vehicles skin, sometimes the vehicle will drift excessively. This issue is often caused by vehicle skins that probably affected the car's wheels. To prevent this, avoid using vehicle skins altogether or choose skins that do not affect the car wheels.

Aggressive Shop Owner

This very rare glitch occurs when you find a shop. The shop suddenly starts shooting at you without you picking a single shop item. This happens during the shop generation process when a shop item spawns outside of the shop. The game detects that you are stealing and starts shooting at you.

Broken Diesel Can

This glitch happens on the plains, where the diesel can is a prop, This means that the can is a prop and doesnt contain liquid, making it useless, however you can find diesel mixed with other liquid (Racing oil for example), you can empty the other liquids to make it diesel, even though its rare, and there is not a lot of liquid in it.

RV door, window and back door glitch

This glitch occurs when spawning the Rv (not guaranteed every time). The Rv 's doors and window will not attach to the vehicle therefore making it unattachable. Annoying . The game will also think those items are attached which will not allow you to shoot the inside of the Rv from outside

Partner car door glitch

this glitch only happens with friends. found by kin8427 and a friend when playing their friend got disconnected and the door their friend was holding got glitched and it couldnt be picked up.

Cannot Pickup Object Or Items.

This bug can occur at any given time because of an error in a script that is responsible for the grabbing mechanic. It can jeopardize your entire run because you cannot grab anything which includes food meaning you will starve to death. However, you can still open doors and push the car.

Sunglasses being stuck in your storage

This glitch happen if you put sunglasses in your backpack.

Low Performance Cooling

When the Performance Cooling uses up the water but does not cool the engine. (This bug happens to the Minuano, idk what other cars have this bug)

Building repeating

This is a very rare one and there has to be people saying building are repeating but no photo, recording or even evidence to proove this glitch is real but there is a person call kingkade who is the only person AKA one of the developers who have experience this glitch but there is another way if any developers play the game and if both player and developers play the game at the same time the player have access to the Building repeating glitch and only 2 players have experience this glitch.

Vampire sitting in your vehicle

GET. OFF. THE. SEAT. NOW!

Discovered by Fandom user Jerrymouse/Mouse070504, there is a rare chance where during a Vampire boss fight, the Vampire may get into your car and sit onto one of the seats. (In his case, vampire sits on the driver seats). As assumed by him, this maybe a new glitch. Unfortunately, the vampire will sit onto the seat forever, and cannot be killed for some reason.

Item falling to backrooms

Probably one of the worst bugs in the game. This bug happens when you take out an item from your Backpack, the item fell into the ground and can't be grabbed, making you lose the item if it's not a limited.

• Peace Out!: At the beginning of the game when everything is loading, the gas can with ATV spawns and is usable even if you don't have the game pass. However, it despawns after the game fully loads. This bug is most useful for those who want to get extra gas but don't want to buy an ATV.
• Ghost Engine
• Legacy hunger Bug: After you die, use revive and eat something - "<" will disappear and your hunger will deplete as slow as before its nerf (And sometimes won't deplete at all).

• Fuel tank stuck in table; This is a common bug where the fuel tank is stuck in the table supports in the starting home. It takes a lot of time getting out, and can sometimes spill
• Golden Egg not dropping; This happens after defeating the Farmer Boss in the Plains in 7500m, the Golden Egg had a chance of not dropping at all, making you can't unlock the Tractor.
