Enemies are hostile NPCs that can be found across the map. When encountered, they will damage players but can be killed using various weapons. Below are descriptions of several enemies that can be found in-game.

Mutant Types[]

Mutants[]

Mutants (Formerly known as mutants) are a type of enemy that spawn in buildings in small groups ranging from 1 to 6, depending on the type of building. Some buildings may not have any mutants at all.

When a Mutant can see a player, they immediately start chasing them. Mutant can move faster than the player's walking speed, making it impossible to outrun them without stamina. However, if you hold a relatively large object in front of you to block the Mutant, you can escape without using stamina. Additionally, the Mutant's movement temporarily stops when the player jumps in the air, which can slow them down.

When a player enters the reach zone of a Mutant, it will begin inflicting constant damage until the player dies. Upon the first hit, the Mutant will let out a small scream.

Bryan-Npc-Revive?

The message that popped up after killing "Bryan"

This is the first time this has been documented, there is a type of Mutant that has the same title and everything, but instead of running towards the player it walks around like an Npc, once killed a message will appear similar to whenever a player dies asking if you want to revive them (note I was able to get a video of "Bryan" but that was when the npc was dead before I could hit record)

Jandel and the ' A Dusty Trip' team have have gave the mutant a name due to a reference about a old folk tale of 'man who lives in the sewers' who was also named Mutants. The Developers copyrighted that name and decided to name the mutated man after him.

Some Mutants are bound to an area such as a house and will not leave it

The only (current) possible ways to defeat Mutants are by:

Sprinter Mutants[]

The sprinter Mutant runs faster than the normal Mutants but it's still slower than a running player and have a slightly lower health and can now sometimes spawn in the desert.

Big mutant

the Buff Mutant in a house

The Buff Mutant will do more damage, and has more health compared to the regular Mutants.

The Buff Mutant is taller than the player and very pale, there is also blood from what might've been a previous victim on it's arm.

The Buff Mutant is also taller than doorways and will get stuck on them making him very easy to kill.

Now they added it in the desert map on 4 of August 2024, making dusty trip a little bit harder.

The chefs/Waiter spawn at 13k Meters in the plains map, They are 8, Behaving like normal mutants, Wearing an restaurant outfit, entering the restaurant Will cause them to approach, however if you outrun them, they will go back to the restaurant. Groups of Mutants are plentiful at Ghost Town dawning cowboy hats with American Wild West era or traditional Mexican clothing with approximately 150 inhabitants, each with a significant increase in speed over vanilla Mutants. Getting overwhelmed by these Mutants is a death sentence as there is no outrunning them. Cowboy Mutants do relatively the same amount of damage as their traditional form.

The most optimal way to kill these Mutant variants is with either ranged weapons like the AK-47 or Pistol, or with the leveled up (black) 'Vampire Blade.' Driving them over with a vehicle is certain death, there is no outrunning them.
